Christ on a Cracker

I'm not trying to make a statement or anything, but people are known to argue about religious figures ("heroes" to some) and their likeliness. I suppose that this picture, when put in context with this week's topic, could support the thoughts of those who believe that these figures are or were unlikely to exist.

This t-shirt is supposed to be one of those lame play on words things (inspired by the somewhat popular saying). You can see my original image here.

Unlikely Hero

I became an UNLIKELY HERO TO MYSELF

I became an Unlikely NERD Hero when I Kimikazeed a School Bully in 6th grade who was a notorious racist who delighted in picking on kids of color. I was his chosen target but took the fight away from him one day by attacking HIM infront of his gurlfriend. I became a Hero to MYSELF for standing up to "schoolyard terrorism" and well, you know how news tends to spread in a school

Alien buster

This is old.
But I did it for Halloweeen.
A little guy to fight the alien invaders.

My Dad The Terminator

In the event that robots take over the world, one man will stand to take them all down. My dad has the innate ability to corrupt, destroy, or otherwise break any computer within 15 feet of him and with a few strokes of the keyboard he can inadvertently turn a working system into a pile of scrap. So, if computers ever conquer humanity my dad will be the hero to rescue us all.

Slug Bug

An old character design that I decided to give a make-over, and his own funnybook cover. Slug Bug was one of my first attempts at animation – a not very successful attempt, so I don't plan to ever post that one, but I'm working on a storyline for a new Slug Bug cartoon/comic. He even has a theme song – here are some of the lyrics:

He leaves a sticky trail behind... Slug Bug!
A superhero made of slime... Slug Bug!
With his Kung Fu eyes he knocks out crime... Slug Bug!
But salt will turn Slug Bug to brine... Slug Bug!

CanSlug Bug defeat those crumby Salt-Teens?... Stay 'tooned!

my favorite unlikely heroes...

this will probably mean nothing to you if you're not a fan of the Harry Potter series, but It's what first came to mind when I read the theme.... hehe...

Dare!

Darius Davidson is not a superhero. He doesn't have any powers, special training or high-tech gadgetry. What he DOES have, however is a rare form of brain damage that makes him totally incapable of feeling fear. Ever. Now it looks like this short little nobody may just become the greatest hero the world has ever seen... Dare has appeared in three comics anthologies, which will be compiled into a new trade this year. And work has begun on the long-awaited origin story Dare: Shook, that will come out someday...
Get familiar here.
